Surviving are a son, Jerome Brown, Dothan, Al; two daughters, Lynda (Mike) Whitaker, Black, Al and Kris (Terry) Knight, Dothan, Al; a brother, Bobby (Glenda) Forrest, Dothan, Al; a sister , Madrue (Tom) Majors, Black, Al; grandchildren, Pamela Bond, Jennifer Howell, Allyson Falgout, Jeremy, Tennille and Chad Whitaker, Andee Johnston and Hunter, Kaleb and Colton Knight and eight great grandchildren. She was a native and long-time resident of the Birmingham, Alabama area. At 18,000 square feet, Southern Heritage Funeral Home is among the larger funeral homes in Alabama.
